Hey everyone! So last week was pretty incredible. Our topic was on Biblical restoration and it was a challenging one! We learned about the Father heart of God and His incredible character. But not only that, we were taught the importance of forgiveness. This is often a very hard topic for many people, even if they have lived their entire lives as Christians. Often when people hurt us we desire to hold it against them, but we also hold on to the hurt that goes along with it. We justify our want not to forgive, but in the end we are hurting ourselves more than helping ourselves. Matthew 6:15 says that if we do not forgive others God will not forgive us! That's a statement that goes to the heart of there ever was one! Sounds like forgiveness is pretty important, no? Well, why? Why should we forgive? As I said earlier, it hurts us.
