A New Beginning
Life has been a little bit crazy recently. Finishing a year in LA, coming home to NO job and NO idea what in the world is next for me. But God opened a door that I never thought I'd walk through after college. YWAM.
I almost feel like YWAM was supposed to be something that you did before college. Experience the world, get your feet wet in missions training. But it's the opposite for me. I've done so much stuff already. I've been to other countries. I have training in pastoral leadership. I COULD be getting my pastoral license and pastoring a youth group or some sort of ministry job. I thought I was done with training, that it was time for the next step; get a big girl job. Not so.
God's got other plans for me. I don't really know how everything is going to work out or when I'll finally be self-sufficient. Sometimes I feel my soon-to-be missionary friends are the only ones that get it.
Well YWAM's the bridge. I get more training and I also get to do what I love: MISSIONS!
YWAM DTS (Discipleship Training School) is basically missions boot-camp. Half of the program is in the States (and lucky for me; on the beach!). The Winter DTS class and I will be learning how to grow in our relationship with God and prepping for missions. We'll be having prayer time, sitting under teachers, and learning how to live with each other! The second half of the program is overseas. The only details I know are that it's until June and it'll probably be in the 10/40 window. For those of you that don't know the 10/40 window is in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

I'll try to keep this updated!
Thanks for reading and supporting!
